Hi there, I joined late and am trying to get caught up so forgive that I am asking about week 1. In the last quiz, question 4 asks: “Once the needles are popped through the insertion tube and into the point, to get the desired effect?”
A) The needle is gently adjusted and checked by palpating the reflex
B) The needle is aggressively twisted and thrusted to elicit the de qi response
C) The needle is left alone

I thought A would be correct, but B was marked correct. Is this right? If so, will we learn more about this in lectures to come?

Hi Nicole,
You’re totally correct! I will take a look at that quiz and fix it. We really don’t ever aggressively thrust to get the de qi response!!!!
