Learn this effective method to treat pain using a set of five ear points. Battlefield acupuncture (BFA) was developed by Richard Niemtzo w, MD, PhD, MPH, Colonel (ret), USAF for application in the front line to treat battlefield related injuries without medication. BFA is now considered a basic tool that all Air Force physicians learn to provide a quick and effective pain management alternative to opioids. Xiangrong Shao, MD is a BFA expert and a graduate of our course. The workshop will be offered as a pre-symposium session. It is appropriate for both current students and graduates of the course looking to advance their skill sets in acupuncture for pain management.
