Hi Allison,
In Dr. Merlo’s lecture on cardiac function (Module 25) at around 17:03 minutes into the lecture she is talking about sympathetic dominance and she mentions that the only calming point that we can use on the back, if the patient’s pulse is rapid, is GV2 because of it’s calming effect. Is this because all back points are on the yang side of the body and are stimulating? And are we to pay attention to the pulse before trying to resolve the Leaking Zong Qi with dorsal points?
Thank you,
B
