PC4 diagnostic and treatment point

Hi Allison, I need clarification re: Dr Merlo’s Function of the Pericardium lecture, slide 47. She mentions that if PC4 is painful then it needs to be treated at a point below the navel before it is needled as a treatmnet for palpitations. What point below the navel is she referring to? Thank you.

Yes!!! Actually, you can use CV4 or CV6 for this! We check both against the pressure pain at PC4 and see which one relieves this the best and that is the point that we choose. 🙂
