Hello, I’m curious about how to use the spleen relationships clinically. The spleen does not like Dampness, but Dampness is its climate. Eating sweets can lead to internal Dampness, but the Spleens taste relationship is sweet. So does this mean that people with spleen imbalance should avoid all spleen relationships, such as fragrant smells, yellow colors, and singing?

Hi, I wouldn’t take it to that extreme. These relationships are interesting to be aware of, but we don’t place too much clinical significance on many of them. However, the food-related ones are relevant and interesting to note since they can be addressed through dietary changes.
